Hu Group Reunion

DinnerThis year marked the 65th birthday of Professor Wei-Shou Hu, and it couldn't have coincided with a better opportunity. The 2017 AIChE annual meeting was held in downtown Minneapolis, allowing for a number of Hu Group alumni to be present at this special occassion.

Former and current students and colleagues alike gathered together on the evening of October 30th, 2017 to reconnect and celebrate over dinner. Many wonderful speeches were given, and a Hu Group "family tree" was presented at the end of the evening, as a surprise for Professor Hu. This tree details the legacy of the Hu group, and includes the names of graduated alumni, past visiting scholars, and even the students of current PhDs who have been through the Hu program.

All in all, it was a wonderful evening.
